Data Deletion Instructions
Post2Viral lets you delete your account and all associated data at any time. This page describes how to request deletion of your data, including data we received from connected social platforms (such as Meta / Facebook / Instagram / Threads, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, and Bluesky).
Option 1 — Delete from inside your account
Sign in to post2viral.com, open Settings → Account, and click Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, all stored content, all OAuth tokens for connected social platforms, and all data we received from those platforms via their APIs.
Disconnecting a single social platform (e.g. Threads) without deleting your account: open Settings → Channels, find the platform, and click Disconnect. We immediately revoke the OAuth token and delete cached data we received from that platform.
Option 2 — Email request
If you cannot sign in, or you prefer to request deletion in writing, email us at info@post2viral.com from the address registered on your account, with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Please include:
- The email address registered on your Post2Viral account.
- (Optional) A specific platform you want disconnected, if you do not want full account deletion.
We will confirm receipt within 72 hours and complete the deletion within thirty (30) days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
What gets deleted
- Your Post2Viral account profile (name, email, organization, preferences).
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens for every connected social platform.
- Any content cached from connected platforms (profile information, posts, comments, mentions, replies, insights).
- Drafts, scheduled posts, analytics history, and uploaded media stored on our servers.
Some content may continue to exist on the social platforms themselves after we delete it from Post2Viral. To remove content from a social platform, you must contact that platform directly or use its native deletion tools.
We may retain a minimal record (account email + deletion timestamp) for up to 90 days to comply with legal, audit, and fraud-prevention obligations, after which it is permanently deleted or anonymised.
Threads / Meta-specific deletion
If you only want to revoke Post2Viral's access to your Threads or other Meta-platform data without deleting your Post2Viral account, you can:
- Use the in-app Settings → Channels → Disconnect flow described above, OR
- Revoke access from Meta directly: visit accounts.meta.com/settings/connected_apps, find Post2Viral, and click Remove.
Both methods cause Post2Viral to delete the associated tokens and any cached Threads data within 24 hours.
